Cable list is set with buried depth in layers

1.Added cable burial depth function

In the design of photovoltaic power stations, the quantity of cables is crucial for controlling project costs. Previously, when calculating the length of cables for strings or inverter outgoing lines, Candela3D used a uniform "length margin" to simulate the part of the cable that goes into and out of the ground (such as adding a 2-meter margin for a 1-meter deep direct burial). However, this method had certain issues: some cables that do not need to be buried were also given a margin, causing deviations in cost estimation.

To address this crucial issue, Candela3D has introduced an independent parameter setting function for 'Cable Burial Depth'.

Key improvements:

a. Independent Layer Settings: The cable burial depth values can be precisely set for both the "String Cable Level" and the "Inverter Cable Level".

b. Flexible definition of laying type:

  • Positive value: Indicates the burial depth of the cable below the terrain (e.g., if buried 1m, enter 1m).
  • Negative value: Indicates the height of the cable above the ground (such as the height of the cable tray above the ground).
  • 0m: indicates that the cable is laid along the ground surface.

c. Precise projection calculation: The software will strictly adhere to the set burial depth values, calculating the corresponding burial length only for the projection segments where the cable route actually needs to be laid or unearthed.

d. Tool display optimization: When viewing in the "Device Cable Tool":

  • The length displayed in segments is the actual measured length, which dynamically incorporates the comprehensive effects of terrain undulations, accurate burial depth, and the height of the device above the ground.
  • The "Total Length" marked in the lower left corner corresponds to the length listed in the Cable list. Its calculation formula is: (3D length of cable + user-defined Length margin) * Margin factor.

2. Example: Buried laying (Thin cable buried at a depth of 0.5 meters, Thick cable buried at a depth of 0.8 meters)

3. Cable tray laying (0.6 meters above the terrain)
